This recall involves the Kluster Fun Tabletop Magnet Chess Games with small, loose magnets about .5 to one inch wide and .3 to .4 inches high. The games are sold in a black box with the word "Kluster" on the front of the box. CPSC, KB Toys Announce Recall of Activity Gym Toys

The Electronic Light N' Learn activity gym is a multi-colored toy that converts into three different toys, including a crib toy, a floor gym and a musical keyboard. The gyms' main console has five buttons with numbers that make music when pressed and automatically light up when the continuous song play option is selected. Five detachable rattles in the shape of a bear, snail, star, half-moon and horse hang from the bottom of the console. A label under the handle on the gyms' main console reads in part "ELECTRONIC LIGHT N' LEARN ACTIVITY GYM MODEL: 8735, MADE IN CHINA."

CPSC, Gymboree Announce Recall of Baby Boy Bodysuits

The recalled baby bodysuits are short-sleeved, one-piece outfits for toddlers sizes 0-3T. The bodysuits come in green and red, and have a wheel-shaped zipper pull. On the left arm of the outfit is a patch that says "1st Place Soap Box Derby." A white care label inside of the outfit reads, "Made in Thailand" and "2000 Gymboree."

CPSC, BRIO® Announce Recall of Toy Baking Sets

The yellow, blue and red hand mixers are 5.5 inches long, and are sold along with toy utensils, rolling pin, mixing bowl, and baking molds. The BRIO Small Baking Set and BRIO Baking Set are labeled for children ages 2 years and older and are packaged in a clear plastic tote. Inside of the tote, a label reads, "PARENTS: ENSURE THE ITEMS ARE WASHED THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE." The recalled baking sets have a model number of either 31798 or 31795.

CPSC, Battat Incorporated Announce Recall of Beanbag Cushions Suffocation and Strangulation Hazards to Babies Cited

The airplane-shaped cushions, measuring approximately 27 inches long by 21 inches wide, are covered in various solid-colored cloth panels, and are filled with plastic foam pellets. They have a "smiley face" on the front with a propeller that spins and makes clicking sounds, and a plush nose. The back of the cushion has a circular target design. Side pockets on the wings have a "My First Passport" book with circle teether and a heart-shaped rattle attached. The cushions' hang tag reads in part, "Parent's PLAY + LEARN ...Fun and safe for all ages...Battat Inc... Made in Thailand." Writing on the packaging states that the product can be used for infants 6 months and up to nap, and that the cushions are "not considered a safe sleeping area for babies."

Infant pillows and cushions have been banned under the Federal Hazardous Substances Act since 1992 because they pose a suffocation hazard to infants. CPSC, Hedstrom® Corp. Announce Recall of Swings on Backyard Gym Sets

The recalled swings, which come with separate pieces for the seat and handle bars/leg rest, were sold with Hedstrom metal and wood gym sets, wood kits, and as accessories. The Star Cruiser has a one-piece seat, with a white plastic circle and the words, "Star Cruiser" and "Hedstrom" on the front of the handle bars/leg rest. A mesh backing, called a Safe-T TM Backrest, can be connected to back of the seat. The Rocket Rider is a "see-saw" swing, with a white seat on which two children can sit back-to-back. The recalled infant sleepsuit shell and lining are made from 100% cotton and the fill is made from 100% polyester. It has double zippers running down each side of the front of the garment. It was sold in a variety of colors in small and large sizes. "HALO Magic Sleepsuit" is printed on the front of the sleepsuit. The batch codes and "Made in India" are printed on the sewn-in label inside the garment and the hang tag affixed to the outside of the sleepsuit.

CPSC, Firms Announce Recall of Remote Controlled Toy Race Cars and Galileo Weather Thermometers

The remote controlled race cars are black with the number 28 printed in red on the doors and roof and the Texaco logo printed on the hood of the car. The cars are about 8 inches long by 3 inches wide and 2 inches high. A black cordless remote control is sold with the cars and reads in part "FORWARD," and "REVERSE" in yellow print. The thermometers are made of glass. They are cylinder-shaped, measuring about 17 inches high. Inside the cylinder are floating small glass spheres filled with various colors of liquid. Attached to each sphere is a metal disk with different temperatures embossed on both sides. The spheres float up and down within the cylinder to identify a temperature based on their position within the cylinder. A small gold sticker that says "Made in China" is on the bottom of the cylinder.

The recalled vests are red nylon/blue fleece reversible zippered vests sold in toddler sizes 2T through 4T. They were sold under the URIT and Parisian Kids brands. The zipper pulls have black and white checkered elastic toggles on the ends. There is a front zipper and three pocket zippers. Labels sewn into the front side pocket read in part "Parisian kids" or "URIT" and "MADE IN KOREA SEE REVERSE FOR CARE."

The candles were sold in two different size terracotta ceramic containers. One container has a vase-shape, leaf design and a silver paint coating and measures about 3.5 inches high. The other container has a jar-shape rope design around the top of the container with a silver paint coating and measures about 2 inches high.

CPSC, Spin Master Toys Announce Recall of Water Rocket Toys

The rockets have a transparent blue plastic body with a red soft foam nose and blue or yellow rocket fins. Each rocket comes with a color coordinated launcher that attaches to a garden hose. The rocket is powered by water and air. A label on the front of the rocket launcher reads in part, "SPLASH BLAST WATER ROCKET," "CAUTION STAY CLEAR OF ROCKET DURING LAUNCH." Imprinted on the base of the rocket launcher is the month, day and year code that reads MM/DD/YYYY followed by the letters AC. This recall includes rockets manufactured up to March 17, 2001 (03172001AC).

The oven has a steel frame around glass panels and comes in a black, white or stainless steel finish. It is sold as a single or double-stacked unit. The model numbers included in the recall are CM301UB, CM302UB, CM301UW, CM302UW, CM301US, and CM302US with serial numbers that begin with 2003 through 2010. The model and serial numbers are located on a data plate inside the grill located beneath the control panel, that reads "Thermador" on the right hand side of the oven.

Last update: Mar 2, 2026 The oven door may not lock properly when the oven is put into the "self clean" mode. While the oven is in "self clean" mode, intense heat is generated to clean the oven. If oxygen is introduced by opening the oven door during the "self clean" mode, combustible material left inside can ignite and pose a fire risk.

The changing table is made of beech wood and comes in a variety of colors including white, honey oak, natural and cherry finishes. The table measures about 38 inches high by 35 inches wide by 20 inches deep. There are two labels on one of the rails of the changing table. One label is gold and reads in part "Child Craft Industries" and the other label is stamped in black ink and reads in part "FoppsPedretti, Made in Italy."

The toy bar is an attachment to the COMBI activity rocker. The recalled toy bars are on activity rockers with model numbers #9710-0 and #9710-1 and lot numbers 7000-10102 and 5000-6034 located on the frame of the rocker.

The recalled above-ground pools contain a compression strap (also referred to as a reinforcing belt) that wraps around the pool on the outside of the vertical support poles, and may create a foothold, allowing a child to access the pool and drown. Cosco Bungee Baby Jumpers: Only model numbers 04-461 and 04-468 are being recalled. The model number is located on the bottom of the tray. Model number 04-461 is the Bungee Jumper and model 04-468 is the Bungee Combo Pack, which consists of the Bungee Jumper and parts to convert the Bungee Jumper to a stationary exerciser. The stationary exerciser, called the Bungee Bouncer Exerciser, is not part of this recall. Both bungee baby jumper models have a multi-colored fabric seat with a white plastic frame with a red foam trim. Three yellow cords connect the seat to a blue plastic strap holder, which says "Cosco." Above the blue plastic strap holder is a thick yellow strap, which connects to a green bungee cord. The bungee cord attaches to a blue door hook. Safety 1st Wipe Warmer: Only model number 26133 manufactured from December 1999 through January 2001 is being recalled. The manufacturing date, a six-digit code (year, month, day), is on the bottom of the unit written below the box containing "CAUTION" items and the model number. A yellow duck and the words "especially for baby" are located on the lower left corner of the unit. The wipe warmer was sold with a diaper organizer that attaches to the bottom of the unit.

The switches also were included in Westek "Power Cord Kits" designed for use with bulk rope lights.

Soda machines sold after 1996 are not being recalled.

The Princess Ariel costume has a green skirt with two layers of netting on top and a sequined purple metallic bodice with a picture of Ariel. The costumes were sold in youth sizes 2-4, 4-6X and 8-10. The neckline labels read "The Disney Store." The recall does not include Princess Ariel costumes sold before July 2000. The earlier Ariel costume was a mermaid fin-like costume with a knee-length, sequined skirt.

CPSC, Firms Announce Recall of On/Off Switches for Rope and Cable Lights

"Cable lights", also known as rope lights, are lights inside a plastic cord used for decorative lighting. The on/off switches for the cable lights were included as an optional accessory for consumers to attach to the power cords. They consist of a rectangular white plastic box about 1 inch long. The box contains a wheel-type switch through the middle that rotates to turn the power on and off. The switches were included in 36-inch and 6-, 9-, 12-, 18-, and 24-foot lengths in power pack kits, which are designed for use with bulk cable lights. The cable lights are clear and have the words "Cable LightsTM" written on the plastic tubing.

These are men's and women's Magna Equator mountain bicycles. Only women's bicycles with model numbers 8546-84 and men's bicycles with model number 8547-19, both of which were manufactured from December 1999 through May 2000, are included in the recall. Those batteries that have colored stickers containing either the number "99" or the series "00 51" or less, and the letter "P" in the first line, are being recalled.

CPSC, Hurricane Products Announce Recall of Propane Regulators

These propane regulators, manufactured by Chen Fong Enterprise Co. Ltd., of Taiwan, are used to regulate the flow of propane from pressurized containers. The propane regulator is used primarily with recreational vehicles and in some homes that use propane as a fuel source for one or more appliances. The regulator has two input valves and one output valve. "Model 6000" is imprinted on the top of the regulator. The patent number, "5103861," is imprinted on the bottom of the regulator, as well as "MADE IN TAIWAN." The date of manufacture also is imprinted on the bottom of the regulator in a four-digit date code, indicating the month and year manufactured. Regulators of "0196," indicating January 1996, through "1099," indicating October 1999, are part of this recall.

The play rings are colored white, yellow and teal green. The red knobs on the yellow ring and white ring can break off. The toy has a Fisher-Price logo on the blue removable top; and has the model number, 77148, and the words, "Mattel, Inc." and "China," molded into the bottom of the red base. Only models manufactured from September 25, 2000 through October 7, 2000 are being recalled. The recalled models have a date code from 269(0) through 281(0) molded into the underside of the blue removable top.

The word "COMMERCIAL" is written before "ZEP" on the top of the labels on the white, plastic bottles, and the product names are written below the brand name.

These candles were all sold in glass containers. A label on the bottom of these candles reads, "Nature's Preserves™" "Home Fragrance Filled" or "Spring Hydrangea." The "Nature's Preserves™" candles include a 16-ounce canning jar container filled with imitation fruit, a 10-ounce round container filled with imitation flowers, jars containing candy corn or jelly beans, containers filled with star or tree shapes, square-shaped jars containing imitation vegetables, and "Beauty In Bloom™ Botanical" candles. The "Home Fragrance" candles are sold in iced tea/lemonade glasses, champagne flutes and sherbet glasses. The "Spring Hydrangea" candles were round containers filled with imitation flowers. The lighters are 10-1/2 inches long and were packaged in a cardboard display sleeve under the brand name "DIY." The brand name is not on the lighter. A yellow label affixed to the handle reads in part: "DANGER: EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE...Made in China."

The recalled bottles have a UPC Code of 11166 20961, which can be found on the back of the label, and sold for about $0.80. A warning on the back of the label says, "Do not use with toilet bowl cleansers, ammonia, or other household chemicals."

In the Concept Classification Activity Kit, each game has various disks that say, "Hot," "Cold," "Light," "Heavy," etc. Children then match the appropriate game piece to the disk that best describes the characteristics of the object. One of the objects is a silver-covered metal weight, shaped like a disc measuring about 1-1/4 inches in diameter with a small loop at the top. Imprinted on one side of the disc is the partial face of a bird and the number "4"; and on the other side, it states, "4 Woody Gardena." In the Opposites Take-Home Pack, a transparent backpack with blue trimming, games include opposite picture cards, crayons, paperback book, and various objects.

Recent Death Prompts Search for Recalled Play Yards/Cribs

CPSC has previously announced the recall of several other portable cribs/play yards with rotating top rails that can collapse and entrap a child in the folded top rails. CPSC is aware of 14 deaths to children when the top rails of play yards collapsed. A new safety standard requires that the top rails of play yards automatically lock into place when the unit is fully set up. CPSC, NIKE USA Inc. Announce Recall of Jordan Trunner Cross-Training Shoes

The NIKE Jordan Trunner LX and Jordan Trunner 2000 Mid shoes being recalled have a strip of metal about 4 inches long at the upper part of the back of the shoe, which is encased in plastic. These shoes are size six and higher, and have model numbers 136040 (the Jordan Trunner LX) and model number 136050 (the Jordan Trunner 2000 Mid). On the Trunner LX, the model number is located on a label on the inside tongue of the shoe, above the UPC code. On the Trunner 2000 Mid, the model number is located above the UPC code on a label inside the heel of the shoe. The Trunner LX is available in various color combinations. The Trunner LX has a Velcro strip instead of laces, and has the word "JORDAN" on a cloth strip just below the Velcro strap and also on the bottom of the shoe. The Trunner 2000 Mid comes in two color combinations: white and black with metallic silver trim, and black and gray with fluorescent yellow trim. The name "JORDAN" appears in block letters near the shoelaces and on the bottom of the shoe, and "TRUNNER" appears on the back heel of the shoe over the metal strip.

Other lights have opaque decorative shades molded in the form of religious figures.

Cylinders bearing a blue ink six-digit code just below the collar beginning with the letter X and ending with the number 7 are not included in this recall. As a reminder to all consumers, propane cylinders should not be stored or used indoors or in confined spaces. If you see, hear or smell leaking propane, immediately move far away from the cylinder and call the fire department from another location.

The highchairs are made of a white plastic seat with white metal legs, and "Graco" is printed on the front of the tray. Highchairs with push pins on the legs that snap into the seat are not part of this recall.

CPSC, Simmons Announce Recall to Repair Cribs

Most of the recalled Simmons cribs were made in 1998. Those sold at Sears were made in 1998, 1999 and 2000. Only "98" cribs of all models are recalled, except for Sears cribs. For Sears cribs (which are model numbers 025260 and 065060), the years "98", "99" and "00" are recalled because the problem bracket hooks were used all three years. The brackets on all other Simmons cribs, except for Sears changed to different type attachments after 1998. The cribs were sold under the name "Little Folks". Simmons and the two-digit year of manufacture are written on a label affixed to the crib's headboard. The year is the two-digit number following the model number. "Little Folks" is on another label affixed to the headboard. The floor lamps are sand colored, stand about 4 feet tall and have flexible gooseneck arms to adjust the position of the fluorescent lights. They are used for reading or by crafters for sewing or needlework. Labels indicating "OTT-LITE TRUECOLOR FLOOR LAMP" on the stand and "OTT-LITE" on either side of the shade identify the recalled floor lamps. Check the label on the OTT-LITE ELECTRONIC BALLAST plug. The plug on the recalled lamps have white lettering on a black label and bear the model number DMBLH-18W or DMBLP-18W.

CPSC, Playskool Announce Recall to Replace Certain "Busy School Bus" Toys

Playskool's Busy School Bus toy is an 8-1/2 inch-long yellow plastic school bus-shaped toy with a carry handle and blue wheels. The front of the Busy School Bus toy has a smiling face and a male figure that moves up and down when a child rolls the toy. A bell rings when the toy is rolled and when the sliding red stop sign is moved back and forth. One side of the toy features a green door with a red Playskool logo and a yellow awning piece. When the door is opened, a decal of a child with animals is revealed. Only item number 5527 toys with date codes 91671 through 91883 are being recalled to replace. The item number and date code are printed on the bottom of the toy. A yellow Playskool logo is imprinted on one side and "MADE IN CHINA" imprinted on the bottom.

Consumers can check the vent pipes attached to their natural gas or propane furnaces or boilers to determine if they are part of this recall. They can be identified as follows: the vent pipes are plastic; the vent pipes are colored gray or black; and the vent pipes have the names "Plexvent®," "Plexvent®II" or "Ultravent®" stamped on the vent pipe or printed on stickers placed on pieces used to connect the vent pipes together. Consumers should also check the location of these vent pipes. For furnaces, only HTPV systems that have vent pipes that go through the sidewalls of structures (horizontal systems) are subject to this program. For boilers, all HTPV systems are subject to this program. Other plastic vent pipes, such as white PVC or CPVC, are not involved in this program.

The product is sold in pint, quart and gallon cans that are labeled "Tanglefoot, Tree Wound & Grafting Compound." The recalled cans were filled from November 11, 1996, through May 5, 1999. This five-digit date (written as year, month, day) is stamped on the back of the can's label. For example, "81127" means the can was filled on November 27, 1998.

The animal's feet are the control buttons. The lights were sold in a blue box, labeled in part, "ROPE LIGHTS, 9 FT. OF TWINKLE FUN, CO2UCH, MADE IN CHINA"
